The Saint Serra Club of Davenport welcomes you!

We are here to help you create a culture of vocations in your parish community as a way to spark an increase in vocations in our Church. Our club has been serving the Diocese of Davenport since 1964 and has continued developing programs and prayer resources that have spread to clubs around the the country! We also have a few recent developments that we’re really excited to share with you.

Join our monthly meetings on the first Monday of every month at 7pm.* We’ll be meeting in Enright Hall at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1923 Fillmore St, Davenport, IA.
All are welcome! Come share your thoughts and ideas to promote and support vocations in the Diocese of Davenport.
*All meetings are on the first Monday, except for July 11 and September 12, due to holiday weekends.

Join us at Our Lady of Lourdes, 1506 Brown St, Bettendorf, IA on every First Friday for Mass with Rosary and Adoration, beginning at 9am.

Some of our specialties are prayer and discernment resources. We have:

  • Pocket sized Book of Prayers for anyone, from the beginner to the season prayer warrior
  • ASK cards to invite others to consider a vocation
  • Adopt a Seminarian displays and info cards
  • Prayer Packs for use with religious education classes and school groups

Plus we’d also like to share with you a resource from our national level: Serra Spark

Brought to you by the U.S. Council of Serra International, SPARK is a free online collection of best-practices tools in religious vocations ministry—as curated from parishes, dioceses, and religious orders around North America. Created by a group of experienced laypeople with a longstanding devotion to the Roman Catholic Church, SPARK covers everything from discernment retreat agendas to vocations talks to using social media in vocations promotion…and much more! Whether you’re recruiting potential priests, sisters, deacons, nuns, or brothers, you can find a helping hand right here.  If you are new to the vocations ministry, SPARK will help you build a strong, solid foundation.  If you are a veteran, SPARK will give you more resources with which to further your ministry.  Just click on the ‘TOOLS’ tab above to get started—or use the search bar at the top of this page to enter keywords and find what you’re looking for.

Thank you for visiting, and thank you for your efforts to build up the Church!
